ArkEdge Space inc. is developing a production system for a wide variety of satellites, centered on the development of the world's most advanced nano-satellites, and is expanding its hardware business to include the design and manufacture of nano-satellites, ground stations, and related components. We are also a startup company that provides a wide range of solutions, including satellite operation services, related software development for satellite and ground station joint operations, and education and consulting for the promotion of the space industry. With the mission of “ Empowering people with satellites for a prosperous future.”, we are working to build a satellite constellation that can be used for IoT communications, earth observation, maritime VDES, etc., as well as a satellite constellation for lunar activities and deep space exploration. We will promote the development and use of space that can be used by everyone through a business model that meets all space needs.
Based on the experience we have gained in the development and operation of CubeSats to date, we aim to become a “small satellite system integrator” that uses small satellites of up to 150kg in weight to meet the diversifying needs of our customers. At the same time, by entering the data service domain, we aim to become a “satellite solution provider” that can provide more advanced services to clients all around the world. In line with this, the attributes of the customers we seek are diverse, but we will build close relationships with the following categories of people in various domains, including LEO, the Moon, and deep space. ・Governments, space agencies, and research institutions in various countries ・Satellite manufacturers ・Satellite component manufacturers (including companies that are not currently involved in the space industry) ・Satellite operators ・Ground station operators ・Data center operators ・Satellite data operators ・Satellite data users (in particular, for LEO, we are looking for people interested in primary industries such as agriculture, forestry and fishing, financial services, monitoring of ocean conditions, and port-related industries) ・Demonstration partners (in particular, for the VDES maritime demonstration, data acquisition and utilization using IoT sensors and satellites) ・R&D partners (in particular, partners for development and manufacturing of multi-wavelength sensors, verification of signal coordination and ionospheric errors around positioning, and development cooperation partners for the advancement of various missions)
