Interstellar Technologies, a dynamic Japanese start-up, envisions a future where space becomes accessible to all through low-cost and convenient space transportation services. Founded in 2013, Interstellar is headquartered in Taiki, Hokkaido where also the launch site and test facilities are located, and has a branch in Tokyo. Interstellar has achieved three successful spaceflights with suborbital launch vehicle MOMO, becoming Japan's first private company to reach space. Currently developing small satellite launch vehicle ZERO, Interstellar also leads Our Stars, a satellite development project, pioneering Japan's vertically integrated rocket-satellite service.
Our target customers are small satellite companies that wish to launch satellites into low Earth orbit. The small satellite launch vehicle "ZERO" that has been under development has the capability to launch payloads of up to 800 kg into low Earth orbit. The features of our service are: high price competitiveness achieved by our integrated service from R&D to launch services, wide range of launch window by launching from Hokkaido Spaceport (available inclination angle of 42° - 98°), tailor-made service to meet customer needs, and ITAR-free regulations eliminate the need for cumbersome paperwork.
