This is planned as a legacy spacecraft of Okuyama laboratory satellites: Shinen2 and Ten-Koh, as well as Ten-Koh 2, which is a 6U Cubesat currently under development. The missions and lessons learned from the past and present satellites will be applied to the proposed Moon Cubesat to strengthen and broaden the knowledge and applied technology to solve the next Moon and deep space exploration challenges.

開発状況・計画
This satellite is the successor to Shinen 2, Ten-Koh, and Ten-Koh 2, and Shinen 2 and Ten-Koh were launched in 2014 and 2018. Shinen 2 has succeeded in communication without using the deep space communication networks beyond the lunar orbit. Ten-Koh 2 is scheduled to be launched by the first HTV-X (the first H3 rocket) in 2022.
