Measure aerodynamic phenomenon for high-speed flight in the atmosphere, including space vehicles and rockets

This facility is a shared facility for researching various aerodynamic phenomenon during high-speed flight in the atmosphere, including space vehicles and rockets, and for simulation tests such as measuring aerodynamics and observations of the flow field. Broadly divided, this consists of air supply units, transonic wind tunnels, supersonic wind tunnels and measurement devices. These facilities, with the exception of some, are all kept in the wind tunnel test building (reinforced concrete 2-story building with a total floor area of approximately 900-plus m2).
